Ring tank Sw-Motech PRO Ducati DesertX (22-)

The Ducati DesertX PRO tank ring sits on a model-specific mounting bracket that is attached to existing mounting points on the motorcycle.

The PRO tank ring combines the innovative strength of two German companies perfectly: The QUICK-LOCK locking mechanism of the SW-MOTECH tank rings, which has been tried and tested over many years, is now even easier to use thanks to the magnetic guide offered by Fidlock technology. The positioning of the top ring has been improved substantially: the sliding top ring is already mounted on the tank bag via a slide rail and does not require drilling.

Then this upper ring can be individually aligned on the slide rail at the bottom of the tank bag. Once in place, just screw it tight. To transfer it to another motorcycle, simply adjust its position accordingly.

The magnetic guide, developed by Fidlock, complements the already perfected QUICK-LOCK mechanical coupling system from SW-MOTECH: the magnets they guide the top ring so that it seats properly on the tank ring which finally locks securely in place. Therefore, the power of the magnets intervenes in correctly positioning the tank bag. A single gesture is all it takes to attach and detach the tank bag easily and safely.

The mechanical locking mechanism secures the tank bag and magnets connect the two parts of the ring. The sturdy, glass-fibre reinforced plastic construction with a high-precision interlocking geometry ensures that the tankbag stays securely in place whatever the road conditions.

The patented PRO tank ring fits on the tank filler neck of the individual motorcycle model. This ensures the best possible positioning on the tank.
