Bremen motorcycle clothing

Created in 1969 by Bruno Gioli, the BREMA clothing brand was born from the encounter between the passion for off-road motorcycling and the need to find products capable of satisfying it.

Brema clothing was the first brand to create an essential and modern style in the world of motorcycle clothing. The replacement of materials such as leather and greased cotton allowed the creation of new garments, thus satisfying the new technical needs of enthusiasts.

Already in 1970 BREMA understood the value of the breathability of the fabric and created jackets in a combination of cotton and polyester, thus combining breathability with the high resistance of the fiber. The BREMA brand also brought important innovations also in the protection sector; in fact, it was BREMA's idea to apply removable protections, thus offering garments with a better fit and with the benefit of protection when necessary. The insertion of an elastic band in the trousers and jackets favored a freedom of movement hitherto unknown.

Nothing was left to chance and even the direction of the seams had the function of making the garments more resistant! "Innovation" not only for the technicality, wearability and design, but also for the use of color; in a world where garments were predominantly black, for BREMA this was a color that didn't exist, so make way for red, blue, yellow…, a real revolution.

In 2000, Giovanni Barocci, for the desire to create motorcycle garments, thought of this large logo on the sleeves that characterized the Brema garments, and after having traced the owner, he took over the brand and, according to a market that had changed, added to the technical line, DNA of the brand, a first travel collection.
