The Gaerne SG22 boots, certified EN 13634:2010, represent an ongoing commitment to creating high-performance boots, combining Made in Italy craftsmanship with cutting-edge materials and technical solutions. Soul, mind and body are focused on one goal: providing protection, comfort and performance while riding.

The term “horsepower” does not only refer to horsepower, but to an attitude that can make the difference. This concept was the basis of the SG22 project, designed to help you overcome any challenge, both on the track and on the road.

Technical features

• Aluminium Superlight Buckles: featuring a new painted finish with exposed details and the ability to adjust the upper locking lever to three positions.
• Air Vents: internal system that facilitates the evacuation of heat and humidity, in synergy with the internal lining equipped with 3D holes and channels.
• 3D Main Body Toe Box: pre-formed three-dimensional construction that uses a single joint element, reducing the height between the sole and the gear shifter for faster gear changes.
• Frontal Shin Guard plate: has two positions to obtain different configurations and facilitate the insertion of knee protectors.
• Steel Bumper 1.0 steel toe cap: designed with reduced thicknesses to maintain maximum protective capacity without increasing weight.
• Grip Guard 1.0 elements: located in the internal area of the leg, designed with materials developed with professional riders to optimize the friction coefficient and improve the riding feel.
• Sole equipped with double density inserts: one for optimal grip and durability, the other for comfort and traction while walking.
• Razorback: innovative, with optimised movement geometries that allow the boot to adapt perfectly to the movements of the ankle.
• Gaerne Dual Stage Pivot System 1.0: protects the ankle by limiting hyperextension, hyperflexion and excessive lateral movements.
• Microshock heel: developed in a rubber compound with differentiated densities, for a shock-absorbing effect on micro-impacts while driving on curves.
