From the encounter between experience in the world of racing and aeronautical inspiration, an innovative rear-view mirror is born: Stealth, an accessory dedicated to super sports cars. The mirror consists of a fixed part, which allows it to be mounted directly on the hull, and a mobile part, which acts as a glass holder. Thanks to a rotation system that joins the two parts, with a simple gesture, it is possible to align the latter: in the closed position, the mirror becomes an aerodynamic appendage.
While the glass holder is always the same, the fixed component connected to it is designed ad hoc for each of the super sports bikes for which Stealth was developed, seeking the best solution in terms of fluid dynamics.
Stealth is machined from solid aluminum, is available in three different colors obtained through anodization and is equipped with a convex glass to allow wider visibility.
The design of Stealth, which resembles a wing, and the 25° inclination with respect to the ground, make it visually linear and create an aerodynamic downforce effect, improving the bike's grip and driving performance, especially at high speed . The downforce achieved is around 4 kg at 300 km/h.
The ergonomic aspect has also been optimised: when the driver assumes a sporty driving position, the mirrors are at eye level. In this way, the rider does not have to raise his position to have a rear field of vision, keeping the head protected by the fairing and, therefore, by the pressure that impacts on the face at high speed.
In motorcycles which, in the standard configuration, have mirrors with integrated front indicators, in combination with Stealth Rizoma recommends the purchase of the Light Unit indicators (code FR070BM) for the re-positioning of the front indicators. Please check the mounting kit and wiring suitable for installing the Light Unit on your motorcycle (to be purchased separately).
In case of damage to the glass, it is possible to purchase the single spare part from a Rizoma dealer (the spare part consists of a pair of glasses, which cannot be sold individually).
