Shifter is a cafe racer sneaker style shoe designed specifically for motorcycle riding. This sporty sneaker has all the important features required by a modern motorcycle shoe. The combination of genuine cowhide leather and the added XTM-Fiber membrane (fiber technology made of DuPont Kevlar Coolmax and Lycra) gives this shoe its high functionality and respective protection in extreme conditions. So the John Doe Shifter provides additional abrasion protection compared to regular leather motorcycle shoes. Another feature is the John Doe three-point protection, which provides additional reinforcement on the ankle, heel and front. The leather "shifter guard" adequately protects the shoe and adds grip for the bike shift.

All John Doe motorcycle shoes obviously also have a "waterstop function" (like trekking and hiking shoes), ie the tongue is designed to prevent water from penetrating quickly into the shoe at the laces. The "easy access" to the shoe via zipper allows the cyclist to quickly and easily put on and take off the shoe without unfastening it for added comfort. An oil-resistant, vibration-absorbing, non-slip sole is also standard on our John Doe motorcycle shoes. Details such as the John Doe logo embossed in leather on the ankle protection or the metal JDM emblem on the tongue complete the classic design of the Shifter motorcycle sneaker.

XTM-Fiber offers the perfect balance between extreme protection and maximum wearing comfort. The outer layer, made of duPont Kevlar aramid fibers, offers maximum protection in the event of a fall. The internal Coolmax fiber mixes the temperature of the skin and adapts perfectly to the wearer.

A layer of Coolmax inside the XTM-Fiber facilitates the transport of moisture to the outside and helps you not to break a sweat, even on long tours.

Almost all of the pieces in our collection are reinforced with armor. The special foam nestles perfectly with slow movements, with faster effort, however, it is hard as a rock. The knee, pelvis and rear armor are therefore extremely comfortable and brilliantly protect.

So that a light rain and a little dirt don't immediately ruin the whole tour, our jeans are coated with a dirt and water repellent.
