The 80s. Naked motorcycles. An attitude that made you feel different from everyone else. Arai Helmets presents the Concept-X. This helmet, which recalls the simple but aggressive style of that period, was born from the heart of Arai's R&D department.
Simple, almost spartan, with a slightly different shell shape from the R75 that distinguishes the most recent Arai proposals, but this does not imply any compromise in terms of safety: Concept-X exceeds and exceeds Arai's internal standard. The shell is in PB e-cLc, with a very smooth and rounded shape possible and reinforced by the Arai patented Peripheral Belt, a solution that allows the helmet to divert the energy of an impact (glance off, to use the English term) without any obstacles.
The VAS-VC visor system, a variant of the VAS introduced with the RX-7V characterized by a retro look, further improves the ability to deflect energy, making the shell even smoother and more resistant even in areas where no homologation tests are foreseen.
The ventilation system has been cleverly hidden in the Concept-X shell: the air intake on the chin, equipped with two separate internal shutters to manage its opening, is assisted by the classic brow vents on the visor (which in doing so do not weaken the outer shell) which channel the air flow in the internal circuit towards the lateral venturi extractors and those in the rear area.
