The jacket features a detachable CE/UKCA Level 2 certified floating Polyhedron Hybrid chest protector, a CE/UKCA Level 2 certified adaptive viscoelastic back protector and molded bio-foam chest protectors with a tested stretch mesh base layer in competition to ensure excellent freedom of movement whilst offering superior upper body protection.
The easy-on-off design of the removable chest and back protectors, in combination with the central base layer zip, enhances the practicality of this jacket, while ensuring the young rider is fully protected.
The jacket incorporates Nucleon Flex Plus CE/UKCA level 1 certified shoulder and elbow protectors. The sleeves are super low profile, compact and highly ventilated to maximize comfort under the jersey and feature eye catching graphics for those who choose to wear it alone at warmer temperatures. The Bionic Tech Youth Jacket is a super comfortable and highly protective jacket thanks to its low profile, ultralight and highly ventilated design.
The use of Polyhedron Hybrid technology means that the Bionic Tech Youth Protection Jacket is one of the lightest, best ventilated and most protective protective jackets in its class. The dual-zone chest protector has a rigid central zone, with a soft, flexible compound around the perimeter supported by soft bio-foam padding that works as an adaptive system that adapts to the chest. The central area of the chest protector directly behind the highly perforated impact grille is fully open to allow for maximum ventilation.
The new CE/UKCA Level 2 certified highly perforated back protector is made from a flexible and adaptive visco-elastic material which offers excellent ventilation and weight saving properties.
The chest and back protectors are held securely in place by adjustable shoulder straps. The lower attachment is operated via the easy-connect buckles and V-straps which also secure the rib guards in place.
The V-shaped straps distribute the clamping force over a larger area of the back protector resulting in a more secure and comfortable fit. Rib protectors offer additional coverage in critical areas.
