Both the dual zone chest and back protectors have a firm center zone with a soft, pliable compound around the perimeter and are supported by soft bio-foam padding. On the chest protector, the soft, flexible lining and bio-foam padding work as an adaptive system that adjusts to the chest. The central area of the chest and back protectors directly behind the highly perforated impact grid is fully open to allow for maximum ventilation.
The chest and back protectors are held securely in place via adjustable shoulder straps. For easy donning and doffing, the removable chest protector features a magnetic quick-release buckle on the left shoulder, while the lower closure is operated via the adjustable V-belts that run across the vented chest protectors.
The V-shape distributes the clamping force over a larger area of the back protector, resulting in a more secure and comfortable fit.
Rib protectors offer additional coverage in critical areas.
