In this model Premier wanted to concentrate all the best knowledge of its department, always looking for innovative and practical solutions to satisfy the needs of even the most demanding tastes. From the aspect of safety to its great silence, which make it a prominent element of the new collection.
Discovery was born as a crossover-dual sport helmet perfect for tackling any type of terrain, road or bumpy.
Thanks to the continuous studies of the department, the visor has been enlarged by as much as 11% in order to offer the motorcyclist a greater field of vision than the previous Premier models. What's more, in addition to the scratch-resistant polycarbonate visor, it is equipped with a retractable dark internal visor that allows optimal driving in all weather and light conditions, and which is operated by a comfortable lever located on the left side of the helmet.
To overcome the problem of fogging in the event of sudden changes in temperature, it is equipped with a Pinlock® lens included in the price.
Special attention has also been paid to the ventilation system, which is made up of three elements: a large air intake located on the front and one on the chin guard allow optimal ventilation both in the upper and lower parts, while the extractor in the rear part of the helmet allows a perfect exit of hot air, so as to leave the interior always fresh and to guarantee optimal recirculation.
The interiors are made of breathable materials made hypoallergenic thanks to the Sanitized treatment, completely removable and washable.
To make driving even more comfortable, the padding has been arranged so as to obtain sufficient space for driving with prescription lenses, thanks to the Easy Fit system.
Discovery is equipped with a micrometric closure, which allows for quick release like any self-respecting touring helmet, and is prepared for the installation of Bluetooth communication systems.
The inner shell is made up of EPS material, a particular pressed polystyrene which is allocated at different densities in several zones, and which allows an excellent response in the event of an impact by dispersing the energy released evenly.
The outer shell is produced using two mold sizes, in order to make the product more performing according to the required size: the small shell covers sizes ranging from XS to M, while the larger shell covers the sizes ranging from L to XXL.
It is made using Dyneema, Carbon and Aramid fibers so as to make the shell very light but at the same time elastic and extremely resistant to impact.
