Leatt has in fact studied a resistant and ventilated Downhill helmet that also integrates the 360 ​​° Turbine Technology, developed specifically to protect the rider from the strongest impacts on the brain.

The 360 ​​° Turbine technology is a valid alternative to the MIPS system and is able to reduce the risk of concussion by up to 30% and that of head and brain rotational acceleration by up to 40%. The helmet contains turbines made from Armourgel®, a 3D molded material that absorbs energy. The advantage lies in not having to use a second shell, thus increasing the overall comfort of the fit. The Leatt MTB 4.0 helmet is designed with a durable and lightweight DH certified polymer compound shell.

The MTB helmet integrates 22 vents and the ventilation grill on the chin guard is removable to ensure maximum ventilation. Practical to use, it integrates an adjustable Fidlock® buckle and is perfectly compatible with Leatt neck braces. The MTB helmet is also equipped with a new Dri-Lex® breathable, anti-odor and easily washable inner lining.
