Motorcycle helmets Nolan

Nolan group is an Italian company founded in 1972. In that year Lander Nocchi, an entrepreneur in the field of motorcycle and car accessories, started the production of polycarbonate injection molded motorcycle helmets, an innovative plastic material, developed by General Electric under the LEXAN ™ brand *.

This material, already used for the molding of protective helmets of astronauts involved in the "Apollo" missions, is still today the most valuable thermoplastic material used in the production of helmets.

This is how the first Nolan helmet (acronym of the founder's name) was born.

Today Nolan group is the only company in the sector to produce all its helmets in Italy with a completely integrated production process, from the receipt of raw materials to the final assembly of the product.

It is the largest helmet manufacturer in Europe with more than 400,000 helmets produced per year and a team of 360 people working in a single pole covering an area of 31,000 square meters. Nolangroup produces both polycarbonate helmets under the Nolan and Grex brands, and helmets in composite fibers, under the X-lite brand. These are joined by N-Com, an internal division dedicated to the development of communication systems.
