The TERRA TR55 top case has a capacity for two flip-up helmets and stands out for being the lightest aluminum top case on the market at 5.4 kg. Designed and 100% made in Barcelona. Its innovative design minimizes the visual impact on the bike. TERRA Pure Black offers a matte black paint finish across the entire top case. The TERRA TR55 top case was awarded the ABC Awards, thanks to its design focused on solving key aspects for use on motorcycles dedicated to adventure.
It has an integrated, aerodynamic structure made of hardened aluminum alloy, a stronger and lighter type of aluminum that allows for a reduced cross-section of 1.2 mm for minimum weight with maximum strength. As with all TERRA aluminum cases, the "TERRA Lock System" (patent pending) is included. With an industrial grade AISI 304 stainless steel structure including the locking system and a retractable carrying handle. This structure has been designed to be assembled quickly, with one hand, and allows the user to open, close, remove and transport the suitcase in seconds. AISI 304 stainless steel hinges are also available.
The rubber-sealed frame of the case protects the interior from unfavorable weather conditions (water resistance). Additionally, the internal foam base reduces movement of the load inside.
The keys and locking cylinder of the TR55 are the premium version of SHAD, with a system that reduces the possibility of theft and a cover that prevents dust from entering.
It is possible to add an extra load thanks to the external hooks in AISI 304 stainless steel.
The installation of a SHAD Top Master and a mounting plate (not included) is required. Three mounting plate options are available: SHAD standard plate (D1B591PA), aluminum mounting plate (D1BTRPA), or black aluminum mounting plate (D1BTRPA2).
The lock cylinders are easily replaceable: the top and side cases can be merged for use with a single key in less than 5 minutes. A third cylinder for the top case is included in the right side case.
