Take advantage of the flexibility and intelligence of your KTM's CANbus electrical system to make accessory installation much easier with DENALI's improved CANsmart™ GEN II controller. The DENALI CANsmart™ controller allows plug & play installation and integrated management of up to four accessories, with a dozen customizable settings that you can control directly from the switches on your KTM handlebar, the optional KTM CANsmart™ control switch or the CANsmart™ Accessory Manager software.
The four GEN II circuits have been pre-programmed to independently connect and control two sets of DENALI lights, a SoundBomb horn and the B6 auxiliary brake light.
Gen II: More features, more power and more versatility
Unlike CANsmart™ Gen I, the four Gen II circuits are capable of providing 10 amps of continuous power, and each circuit can be configured to use any accessory. The maximum power drawn by the entire unit is still 30 amps continuous. The Gen II also features two new auxiliary light settings. You can now dim the auxiliary lights to increase visibility, as well as set the left and right side lights to clear separately when the corresponding turn signal is activated.
Characteristics
KTM ABS Dongle Compatibility - Enable additional functions in the ABS and Engine Control Unit (ECU) and remember your settings, no more having to reset the ABS and MTC every time you start the motorcycle! Additionally, it has a Bad Fuel mode for 80-octane gasoline, which reduces engine power on trips with lower-quality fuel.
High/Low Sync - Sets the auxiliary lights to switch between a programmable high/low setting via the factory high beams.
ON/OFF and Dimming - Allows you to independently control two sets of lights ON/OFF through your vehicle's factory switches. Brightness can be adjusted using software or the optional control switch.
Modulating Lights - Adjust the auxiliary lights to modulate and increase your visibility to other drivers.
Blink to pass - Need to get someone's attention? Press the high beams three times and your auxiliary lights will quickly flash three times.
Canceling by indicator - This function cancels the corresponding auxiliary light when the indicator is activated, preventing strong auxiliary lights from overriding the indicator.
Reverse Indicators + Hazard Lights - This feature causes your auxiliary lights to flash in reverse of your hazard lights, increasing your visibility in roadside emergencies.
Plug & Play Horn Installation - Quickly and easily connect other high-powered horns, such as the DENALI SoundBomb™, without having to add additional wiring or relays.
Strobe Light + Horn - When this feature is selected, if you sound the horn, the CANsmart™ software automatically emits a strobe light through the auxiliary lights. This works with both the factory horn and SoundBomb™ horn installed.
Deceleration-Activated Smart Brake Technology - CANsmart™ detects vehicle speed in real time to activate the brake light during deceleration, even before you step on the brake. You can set the sensitivity and minimum speed at which this feature will be activated.
Brake Light Profile - The CANsmart™ features four different brake light profiles, making our bright auxiliary brake lights even more visible to those behind us. You can set the auxiliary brake lights to flash only during heavy braking, continuously when you apply the brake, or to flash four times and then stay on.
Circuit Function Selector - The CANsmart™ software's Circuit Function Selector will allow you to run any accessory of your choice on one of four circuits. Click on a circuit icon to open the drop-down menu and choose one of the available circuit functions.
Power Switching - The CANsmart™ features a universal 'accessory' mode that provides clean 12V power. This means that any accessory connected to this circuit turns on and off when turned on.
Delayed Shutdown - You can also configure this circuit's accessories to delay shutdown. This allows them to be kept on for up to 30 seconds after the engine has stopped.
Onboard Power - Accessory loop mode is ideal for charging your GPS, phone, heated accessories, or any other electronic device.
